The largest theme park in central and southern Taiwan, with rides laid out across the hills of Gukeng
📍 Yunlin · Gukeng Township · Yongguang Village🎨 Cultural Park🔖 Theme Park · Roller Coaster · Fireworks Festival

Janfusun Fancyworld opened in 1990, sited in the hills of Gukeng Township with rides arranged across the natural terrain. It is one of the largest theme parks in central and southern Taiwan. Facilities have been updated continuously over more than thirty years, making it the most significant large-scale tourism attraction in Yunlin County. It draws family visitors on weekends, and annual events such as the fireworks festival are key moments in its calendar.

Highlights of Janfusun Fancyworld

The park covers a wide area and includes roller coasters, a Ferris wheel, water rides, and a variety of other large-scale attractions, with families as the primary target audience. The hillside setting means some rides offer views out over the Gukeng hills — a different landscape experience from flat-terrain theme parks. An all-inclusive ticket covers the rides; purchasing online in advance or arriving early is recommended during peak seasons.

The fireworks festival is held on a regular schedule each year: nighttime fireworks combined with a light projection show are the park's most anticipated seasonal event, attracting large numbers of first-time visitors. For festival dates and ticket prices, check the Janfusun Fancyworld official website. Parking and crowds are intense during festival periods; plan ahead. Waiting times are shorter on weekdays — families with children might consider a weekday visit.

How to make the most of your visit

Go straight for popular rides when the park opensCrowds are still thin right after opening. Queue times for popular rides like the roller coaster are shortest at this point — prioritize them, and save meals and rest for midday when crowds peak.
